Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to class?

Small towel (can get sweaty), A water bottle, grip socks (optional), and an open mind. We provide everything else.

How long does a class go for?

50 minutes.

How many Fundamentals classes should I do before joining Reformer Flow?

Most people feel ready after 2–5 Fundamentals classes, but there’s no set rule. Once you feel familiar with the Reformer and confident with the basics, you’re welcome to join Reformer Flow. Our small classes mean we can support you either way.

What class should I start with?

Our instructors teach to the room and offer options to scale up or down. If you’re brand new, we recommend starting with our Fundamentals class to learn the basics.

I need help with my pack.

Please email hello@reformerroomjurienbay.com and we will get back to you with 24 hours.

Can I bring my children to the studio?

Yes — children are welcome in our space, with a few important guidelines to keep everyone safe and comfortable:

  • Children are your full responsibility at all times.

  • Please bring something to keep them entertained during class so they don’t distract the trainer or impact other clients’ experience.

  • Children must stay in the designated area provided and away from all equipment and class zones.

  • We do not recommend bringing toddlers, as they often find it difficult to understand the dangers in a studio environment.

  • As a studio, we take safety seriously for everyone, so these guidelines help us maintain a secure and supportive space.

  • Please refer to our Waiver of Risk & Responsibility for full details.

  • The Reformer Room is not liable for any injuries, incidents, or damage caused by children in the studio.

  • If a child becomes disruptive, unsafe, or causes distraction to other clients, we may need to let the parent know the child cannot return during class times.

Can I share my class packs with someone else?

No, class packs are non-shareable and non-transferable. Each pack is linked to one individual account to ensure accurate attendance, personalised instruction, and smooth studio management.

What does “monthly” mean for class packs?

A monthly pack is valid for 1 month from your first booked class, not the date of purchase. All unused classes expire after the 1-month period.

Do you offer privates and how do I book?

Yes we do! Contact us on hello@reformerroomjurienbay.com to discuss, we would love to hear from you.

Can I get an extension on my pack?

Extensions are not guaranteed but may be granted at the owner’s discretion for exceptional circumstances (injury, illness, travel, etc.).
Please email: hello@reformerroomjurienbay.com to discuss your situation.

What if I’m late or need to cancel a class?

We appreciate as much notice as possible, you have a 2 hour window prior to class to cancel and receive your credit back, please do so to let us know who is coming and the next person on the waitlist gets an opportunity. If you do not cancel you will loose your class credit. Late arrivals past 10min may not be able to join once the class has begun for safety reasons.

I’m pregnant — can I join a group class?

Yes. If you can’t make a pre/post-natal class coming in early 2026 and you’re past 12 weeks, you’re welcome to join as long as you’ve been cleared by your doctor. Please let your instructor know before each class so we can offer any needed modifications. Alternatively get in contact to book a private hello@reformerroomjurienbay.com

Do I need to tell the instructor about injuries or pregnancy?

Yes — absolutely.
Please let your instructor know about any injuries, pregnancy, or concerns before class. This helps us offer safe modifications and support your body properly.

What is your refund policy?

Class packs and casual passes are non-refundable. Please choose your pack based on what you know you can use within the timeframe.

Do my classes roll over if I don’t use them?

No — unused classes do not roll over once a pack expires.

Do I need grip socks?

Grip socks are optional. If you have a pair, you’re welcome to wear them, but they’re not required. We provide a sanitising spray for every class, so you can wipe down your Reformer and feel comfortable moving with or without socks.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 1-day cancellation window.
This means you must cancel at least 24 hours before your class to receive the session back on your pre-purchased pack.

Late cancellations or no-shows will forfeit the class, as your spot could have been offered to someone on the waitlist.

Do I get charged for going on the waitlist?

No — you are not charged for joining the waitlist.
You will only be charged or have a class deducted if a spot becomes available, you are added into the class, and you do not cancel within the 1-day cancellation window.

If you’re unsure about making it, we recommend keeping an eye on your booking notifications so you don’t accidentally get added into a class you can’t attend.

Do you have air conditioning?

Yes! Our studio is air-conditioned, so you can enjoy a comfortable, cool space while you move and flow.

Why is a class waitlisted, but there are empty Reformers when I arrive?

This usually happens when someone who booked the class doesn’t show up, or a waitlist client wasn’t able to fill the spot at short notice. Waitlists help us manage demand fairly, so even if a bed looks empty when you arrive, bookings are prioritised in the order they were made.

Can I bring my pet?

We love pets, but for the comfort and safety of all clients, pets are not allowed in the studio.

Can I just show up?

Yes, you can! However, due to our limited number of Reformers, booking is essential. If no one is booked in a class, it may be cancelled, so we always recommend reserving your spot in advance.

Why is a class cancelled?

If no one is booked in up to 2 hours before a class, we cancel it. This helps us manage our small studio efficiently while keeping the experience personal and boutique for everyone who attends.
